Booked After School

BookClub

The Booked After School Book Club combines the guided reading, and discussion aspects of a traditional children’s book club with unique, powerful, Language Arts skills development features. The goal of our book club is to make your child a superior oral and written communicator, reader, and an elite level student in English Language Arts. We accomplish this by exposing him or her to “high level” English for extended periods of time. We expand and develop all aspects of your child’s ability to communicate;

For the convenience of our students and their families all teaching and learning take place on the very easy to access, use, understand, and navigate ZOOM platform. Simply download the popular ZOOM app to the computer or electronic device that your child will use to attend weekly classes, and they will be ready to participate, and begin learning.

Your child will participate in online sessions with students of his or her grade and skill level every week on whichever two days are most convenient for your family. We have high student enrollment which allows us to offer you, and your child a wide variety of start times every afternoon, and evening.

Our SAT “Bootcamp” is an Online, live instructor led, 4-week intensive SAT training program led by an SAT expert. This intensive course teaches students everything that they need to know to achieve a desirable score on all the core sections of the SAT. The camp meets 3 days per week in an online, “group style”, format.

The camp covers tips, tricks, proven SAT taking strategies, and what to watch out for.

Students are even advised on what to do the morning of the exam based on research gathered from hundreds of former test takers that achieved SAT scores in the upper percentile.

In addition to sharing SAT exam taking strategies the course offers a thorough review of the 3 core sections that make up the SAT exam: Reading, Writing, and Mathematics.

All of our SAT instructors achieved SAT scores in the top percentile and did so on their first attempt. They have an excellent academic track record, and their backgrounds are fully researched.

Perhaps the best part is that we offer one of the country’s leading SAT Prep courses for hundreds of dollars less than other leading programs to emphasize our commitment to America’s youth and families.

“Rolling” (ongoing) Admission.

This is a “rolling admission program”. This means that we have designed the course so that the student can enter a monthly session that has already started at any time during the learning month as long as the session is appropriate to your child’s current skill level.

(We determine/estimate your child’s current skill level and placement by their English Language Arts scores on their last report card which you will indicate when completing the new student enrollment form)

Similarly, If the student misses time for any reason they can easily return and continue during that same month, at any time, and immediately pick up where they left off without having to wait for the next month’s session to begin. While there is occasionally overlap from week to week the material covered in the program does not necessarily extend from one week to the next. New, relevant, material is taught every, single, week that is not necessarily dependent on what was covered the week before which is what makes the rolling admission model possible.
